Stuff and Things...

Alrighty!
So I've posted the first typed-pass of one of the short stories I'm trying to work on in relation to my Fidonhaal setting, and as I did so, I also did a little roaming about on here, fav-ing and commenting on various art-pieces and other folks on here. While there's some work to be done with the short story I rough-previewed, of course, I've since gotten a nice little uptick in my page's view-count (having now just surpassed 3,500), as well as a handful of new watchers. :3
How much of that is from new folks, actual folks and not bots or whatever, and how much of it was from interest in my uploads or simply from my interactions with others, I don't know and won't pretend to, but to everyone who has since given my profile and stuff a look, I would like to thank you here and now. :)
In other news, I still have the stories of Zongar Highsun, along with numerous other "Fidonhaal" story ideas, on file, in the works, whatever-have-you, but I simply do not have an ETA for any of it at this time.
I'm presently pretty occupied with dealing with my current job, which, to put plainly, I'm very dissatisfied with, and efforts to find something better, though I'm at something of a loss for alternatives, and those that I've applied to, I've yet to hear from, provided I ever do and if the reply is even a remote chance of getting a chance at it/them. With this, on top of a number of other personal matters, it's just difficult for me at times to spend much of the free time I have on writing a lot at present. I haven't utterly quit on it by any means; I've got stacks of folders and notebooks of stuff sitting on my desk, but it is fairly "start and stop" at the present time.
That all said, as hard as it's been at times and remains at present, I want to thank everyone who has bothered with looking into my stuff at all. For all the highs and lows of this journey so far, I am thankful that my efforts have appealed to anyone at all.
Also, other-other news, I've currently got two art-commissions in the works that I'm looking forward to. One is Fidonhaal-relevant, being done by
CadmiumTea and depicting a (spicy but sweet) scene of a couple belonging to the setting's mystical creatures catalogue, specifically the "Springlings" or "fauns" of the setting (the pose of one of the characters being inspired by a real-life Hellenistic sculpture).
The other piece is not Fidonhaal-related but is in regards to myself, or rather my fursona, whatever. XD
And it's a long-awaited closure to a "one image for each season" concept I had with a given artist, that being
Blokfort , that I've been wanting to wrap up for several years now.
I'm also thinking of sharing some of my D&D miniatures-painting on here from time to time, starting with a "Drunken Master Monk" character I did for a campaign that sadly fell through.
I may or may not also consider doing occasional bouts of some "lore tid-bit drops" and/or "Q&A" writing bits to upload at some point. We'll see.
Sincere thanks to everyone who has taken time out of their lives to have a gander at my writings and related (and unrelated) stuff. It's been rough at times, alongside a number of other things in my life, but seeing that there are indeed people out there who find some of my stuff interesting is encouraging.
Regards,
Lucas/Wulfe
