Can't run SL :(

I downloaded Second Life and registered to it, (it became so much easier since last time I tried) but the graphics seem f'cked up. System requirements say:
ATI Radeon 8500, 9250 or better
I have ATI Radeon 9400, why doesn't it work? If I understand it well, it should run...but maybe I'm really THIS dumb for hardwares.

hmm have a full scan of your pc and see the full specs and compare that with the minimal needed for SL you may need a better graphics card hun

That's what I'm saying, in theory, 9400 is better than 2500, yet it isn't running...
