(Belated) Ken's Father's Day

The dingo sat back against the palm tree, staring out at the beach as the sun began to set. Laying on his lap were his son and daughter, Bren and Jen, tuckered out from running around, playing in the sand, and swimming around in the water; it warmed his heart knowing his little ones were able to have fun in the sun... even though their mother were no longer around... He shook his head; his beloved wouldn't want him to dwell on that. No, he would live, for himself as well as his pups.
He didn't need to be perfect... he just needed to be a father and be there for his kids.
