i mean it kinda depends on how it's played to me. if perma is like "ooooo bad end boowomp," then yeah i'd agree with you. 'tis boring when it's played as "bad end" stuff
however if it's more like "oooo you're stuck like this forever! *hushed voice* it's more like three months but like... where's the fun in playing that straight," then i think perma could be interesting... though that's not really perma now is it...
it just depends on how it's executed to me. which is really how it is for a lot of things, but whatever, point still stands regardless
