What the title says.
As I wrote in my previous journals, I'm working on a growth story that started as an RP, but I wanted to rewrite it into a proper short story. After the raw version was done, one person proofread it, and now I'm going through the corrections, typos and suggestions. I'm pretty sure there is still room for improvement, but I want to move on to other projects as well.
I'm already done like 60%. So, if nothing else, I can upload it next week!
~93 pages, almost 45,000 words. I wonder if this counts as a novel...

Quick premise what you can expect:
Set in a modern world, a young boy named Adam visits his father, Thomas, at his farm. The old man has a couple of exotic, magical beasts as helpers; all of them are intelligent and helpful creatures, though they are not capable of speaking (think of them as easily tamable and strong animals). The father is also a brilliant inventor, showing his son his latest invention: a growth ray, which can end world-wide famine. Later the boy finds in the wood two wild yet friendly creatures, a cat-size dragon and an equally small sabertooth, whom he befriends. Unfortunately, the father finds them too small and weak, who cannot really help around the farm. Instead, he plans to sell them. While he is gone, the boy has a crazy idea, which involves his father's growth machine...
The story is SFW, and involves lots and lots and LOTS of growth, some friendly destruction, a fictional war between the USA and Canada, and a few plot twists here and there as they try to stop the two creatures outgrowing... well, pretty much everything!

Sounds like a hell of a project. I'll definitely give it a look-see when you post it. Might take me more than one sitting XD
