Covid update (rambling)
What a horrible week!
I feel fine now, though. Still testing positive, so I'm still locked up.
I'll be drawing and stuff. So sorry for the wait, my darling and patient commissioners. I hope you understand all these life events happening at once, it's been very intense emotionally.
You will definitely get your illustrations, and I'll put a lot of love and focus/intention into them.
I'm not taking any more commissions, so all my attention is going to the ones who got a turn in advance.
As for covid symptoms right now,
I just get fatigue/dizzy/tired easily, but I think that's normal
Didn't take any pills today because I feel fine.
I'll definitely appreciate my health way more, and wear a mask everywhere like in 2020. Fuck covid!
A symptom I went through that I had never read about was: ear pain
One of my ears was really bugging me throughout the week, and sometimes if I blew my nose, it would make a really loud sound and feel painful.
Got drops for ear pain, and will refrain from doing the valsalva technique until I am way past this.
I'm too scared of the unbearable sound/hurting my ear or something.
Didn't know this could even happen, but the nose and the ear are connected so it makes sense, kinda, the stuffy nose and all.
I hadn't been sick in forever.
I forgot all about it.
Being sick and away from everyone was horrible.
I especially missed my cat.
I felt so alone.
My husband made it better by feeding me every day.
I'm so lucky to have him, and can't wait to be able to be in the same room again. Feel human company/touch/etc

Hang in there. The healing power of Loumi hugs shall recover you to full health soon <3
I'm excited to be able to go out again! And I'm so excited for the Loumi hugs coming soon!!!! They are just around the corner 😍 They are everything to me
I know the struggle of ear pain. Whenever I get a sore throat or even just post-nasal-drip from my allergies it makes swallowing painful in my ears. They can take my nose and my throat, but leave my ears alone dammit!
Wowww you get it.
It's just so desperating and scary to feel the pain, so close to the brain, so inside, it feels invasive and wrong. Then the paranoia of hearing being altered in general 😭 Not a good time!
Nose and throat are bad enough, but there's instant remedies for it... but, ear stuff added to the mix? Headache inducing 😭 It's unbearableeeee
Ear pain wasn't something that I had, but I've heard of people having it. It seems to be part of the newer strains. Less respiratory issues, more disautonomia and disregulation of body functions. Hopefully it's beat and you won't have to go through this again.
Ohhh that sounds spot on. I didn't feel anything different on my breathing, aside from the flu/cold symptoms. Got the fever and those other nasty parts, but breathing was alright. I did feel what you described.
I hope nobody has to go through this, I'll definitely mask up from now on and take care just like in the beginning of the pandemic
