Update on everything
I hope everyone is well. I imagine many might be wondering why I haven't responded or updated anything lately.
As you may know, my grandmother passed away about two months ago. Her death hit my mother the hardest who has been trying to move forward since then. She left her property to my mother, which caused a rift with her sister and niece. Her niece (My cousin) was staying at my grandmother's property with her two kids for free living off my grandmother's money. My grandmother's money was split between my mother and her sister (My aunt). My mother offered my grandmother's property to my cousin less than half its market value, but my aunt took her half of my grandmother's money for herself. My mother hasn't talked to my aunt since then and gave my cousin until August to either buy the property or vacate it.
I've been spending more time with my mother who was feeling a little better each day until about a week ago when she was in a car accident. She was making a left turn, but someone ran a red light hitting her car. This wreck involved six vehicles but thankfully, everyone was okay. My mother decided to take the ambulance ride to the hospital and only had a minor gash on her hand (She didn't even need a band-aid for it). Her depression exacerbated from losing her favorite car (It's beyond repair, but the insurance company hasn't given the official word on that).
Over the weekend, she received a letter that the hospital put a lien on her house. Thing is that they haven't even sent a bill, and she doesn't have any debt. I guess in Florida, a hospital won't hesitate to put a lien on a house before even sending the bill. We're getting an attorney about that since she has Homestead exemption. Earlier today, her A/C broke. That's especially bad when it's July in South Florida. She's been depressed where I'm trying my best to help her as much as possible.
I was also trying to take time for my personal health. Back in April, I had so many events from work on my plate that I was about to have a heart attack. I took time off to visit Sweden for a week to fully recuperate from work. I have been organizing my time as well as budget and monitoring my health to get back into my routine with writing, ordering commissions, etc. I'm also planning on time off from work in August.
I will continue managing my time where I support my mother, do my job, write, exercise, upload my work, and relax.

Hope it ends soon and hope then you keep being healthy for your family's sake.
I've been trying to improve my balance with everything.
