I *LOVE* DDR, but sadly no one plays those anymore. I have played that circular game too once at FWA! And I like a few other kinds of rhythm games, but I don't have much access to them, and my DDR pad and PS2 broke years ago. :(

The DDR machines at the arcade I go to are ALWAYS full by people with the CRAAAAAZIEST skill, I just look on in awe

this is so good to hear. DDR looks antiquated now with so many other games that have you real-dance instead of step on arrows, but so much about DDR is fun and challenging that I always thought i would get to play it... at least at home but oh well.

i dont even know where to find arcades up here, but my housemate has a pretty big DDR dance mat (actual steel and plastic one)

I feel lucky, there’s a chain of arcades called Round 1 in Northeast PA , but I think it may exist in other states too?

Oh heck yea! I sometimes will go to round 1 to play Beatmania IIDX or play it at home (PS2)! DDR and Step mania is another I have played. I have a DDR pad and I have plans to mod it to make it work better xD

Round 1 is my home-base arcade too!!!! They’re great xD

They have so many cool and interesting arcade machines there! D&B Has DDR as well, but only a select few locations have it while the rest have Pump It Up.

Rhythm games are awesome! The rhythm platformer Mad Rat Dead is one of my favourite games of all time!

Love Japanese rhythm games, local anime con each year gets a ton of them in.

I love rhythm games like Guitar Hero, Rhythm Heaven, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. Sadly no arcades anywhere near me, so I have to settle for whatever games come out on the Switch/PC.

i'm a *biiiig* fan of guitar hero and rock band, always kinda wanted to play DDR but kinda self-conscious about doing it in front of a bunch of other people...especially since the nearest machine's right at the front door of my nearest arcade x3

I love rhythm games, especially the japanese arcade ones! I main sound voltex and IIDX, but love playing ddr, chunithm, and wacca too! always so cool to see more furs into rhythm games, they’re so sick!!

I adore 'em, but I don't have a Round 1 near me. We were supposed to get one, but covid scuppered the plans.

Without a Round 1, I'm a bit limited. We do have a Dave & Busters, but their DDR machine is stuck on A20+ - two full versions behind! And there are persistent rumors they're going to stop paying Konami for eAmuse access. I have a l-tek for DDR/stepmania play at home, but without a bar I'm a little hamstrung. I've long toyed with getting a PC controller for IIDX or SDVX, but it's sort of a lot of money to spend on one game that I haven't played in ages (or never, in the case of SDVX).

On PC, I've been playing a bit of Spin Rhythm XD, which has a really fun, unique playstyle. I appreciate the way the devs are really devoted to letting you play with any input method.

OH! And I use a series of converters and emulators to play DJ Hero on my PC. That game absolutely SLAPS, and its tragedy it came out when everyone was tired of Guitar Hero, because it's so, so good.

I play Project Sekai: Colorful Stage on my phone. I even have a PlayStation 2 DDR game. Can’t do the hardest difficulty on them but I still have fun trying.

ive played some of wacca myself but im god awful at them. no local arcades close to me lol

I love rhythm games! Rhythm Heaven (and Heaven Studio) are my current go-tos, but I have to finish Melatonin. I just can't play it docked on TV, I have to use my earbuds for maximum gaming experience. XD
