Okay so I went to compete at EVO 2024 this last week in Las Vegas.
I played in both SF6 and SC6, SF6 being my first major tournament outing.
I was seeded at 1900(ish) out of over 5000 entrants and finished with a 3-2 record almost making it out of my pools and placing in the 1500(ish) range. I play Zangief and was very proud of my performance overall.
SC6 being my main game and I finished in 9th place out of 70 entrants (BIG for our scene) It's better than my last EVO outing for SC6 and I am proud of it, but I know I could've made top6 for medals.
But I can improve from here (I plan to) and I had a blast.
It's back to my job tomorrow and I'll get back to writing soon, but yeah! Just a little update to what happened and I hope you all are doing well!
My voice is SHOT from top6 screaming for my best friend who nearly won the whole thing. SO proud of him!
