i meant to post this update.....weeks ago, i'm so sorry. july was absolutely crazy with all the work i had to do, all the life obligations, and artfight.
BUT! i'm trying a new schedule for work/wing-its, which will involve new commission opportunities, especially for those who are members of my patreon/kofi.
starting this month, i'm going to start doing 1-2 YCHs a month, auctioned right at the beginning of the month and then worked on the following week. my subscribers, Moonbeam tier and up, get first dibs on these, so they'll be offered to them first. the first two are up in my discord right now. if they don't get bought out in a couple days, those same auctions will go live to the public, with the starting bid being the highest subscriber bid for folks to bid against (if there are no new bids after that, it will go to that subscriber of course)
i have quite a few backlogged YCH sketches that i'd like to get through, and once i do these slots will become custom commission slots! they'll have limitations/requirements in type because i need to make sure i'm covering bills and stuff, but the system will be about the same. i'll offer them to patrons/kofi supporters first, and if they don't get claimed in a couple days, i'll offer them to the public.
so "the claiming", so to speak, will happen in the first week of each month. the arts will be worked on the following week, barring anything weird going on. that means that there will be a week each month when there will be no wing-its. this month, that'll be next week. there will be no wing-it opening on friday, august 9th so that i can work on this month's YCHs. wing-its will open again on the 16th
i hoping that this will spice things up and make things more interesting/exciting, both for me and for all of you and my subscribers. but also that it'll enable me to pay all my bills without having to pump out 5 wing-its every single week.
