I've never met or had a chance to speak with 
dragoneer, so I do apologize if I show my ignorance of his situation. However, this I know: if it were not for his dream and vision of sharing anthropomorphic work with FurAffinity, I don't think I would have had the success I had as a writer. I would not have met so many wonderful friends who shared so many interests. FA was, and is, more than just a repository of works. It has always been a beating heart of the fandom. One I still support. And for this legacy, I feel I should join in, giving thanks to him for what he gave to all of us.
My prayers are with his family and closest friends. You have our thanks and our salutes. I hope the afterlife finds you well and comfortable, sir.

It might be happenstance, but it feels as though being here is what gave me the confidence to do so much of what I have done in the furry space, and for that, I am thankful to him for his part in making and shaping it.
May he have a sweet, serene spiritual slumber.
