Do not mistake my Shakespeare for sarcasm. We’re all undoubtedly, equally, and deeply numbed by the untimely passing of this site’s owner, 
Dragoneer. Not even I could believe it when I first saw the bad news. He was a good admin, a good artist, and a good friend, even to me. I’ll always have him to thank for helping me reclaim my place on this site six years ago. As traumatic as that experience was, I did learn an important lesson from it: Some furries are far too toxic, while others are just plain soulless. At the same time, however, the only good furries in the fandom are those that are compassionate, merciful and tolerant enough to be willing to listen to reason, and he was definitely one of those good furries. A life is only important in proportion to its impact on the lives of others. By that standard, Dragoneer ranked as one of the very best. He leaves behind family, friends, fellow furries, and an eternally grateful fandom.
He was a true hero and a legend to us all, and will be missed, but never forgotten.

Without him, many of us wouldn't have the meetings/relations we have today. I did not know this person. But they have touched many people who have come and gone through here. May his soul rest and find peace, may those who are affected by this care his memory.
