I'm floored. Genuinely upset about the news.
Though I may not have known Dragoneer personally, I am eternally grateful for FA and the work he put into it. I would be a no name artist if it wasn't for this site. I have met so many wonderful people throughout my years here, only connecting through artwork.
My heart hurts very much but it is also warmed by the sole fact that everyone is coming together, sharing stories and artwork about Neer. I have read many journals that have such nice, positive interactions that bring a smile to your face. You can tell that Neer had an immense amount of love for the fandom.
On top of being incredibly hurt that he is gone, I am also horribly angry that he had suffered for so long, unable to get answers despite trying to get treatment. Multiple days of extremely high fevers is insane and should be addressed appropriately and quickly, on top of his other symptoms as well, of course.
Please rest easy Neer, you will be greatly missed.

I hope that this will be an impetus for everyone here in the US to work to improve our joke of a "Healthcare" system.
I hope his friends and family are able to heal from this. It’s so sad that the healthcare system fails so many people
It's unfair, and my heart hurts for his loved ones.
