RIP Dragoneer...
I heard the news on Twitter yesterday before I saw the post on this site. It's truly shocking considering how big of a figure he is on this site and the fandom as a whole, and judging by his tweets prior to his passing it could have been avoided if he had gotten the help he needed.
It's because of him this site exists, and I was able to meet and befriend so many new artists and other talented individuals since I joined in 2008, many of which I still follow to this day on other platforms and have even met in-person at Midwest Fur Fest. I'm truly thankful for my time here, and it's all thanks to him for keeping it going. I don't know what the future of this site will be like without him, but I hope whoever is currently at the helm keeps it going and doesn't let it fall into disarray.
Rest in Peace, and thank you for everything, Neer.
