Moving to Maryland

I'll explain,
I'm currently in college to earn my veterinarian degree, though in order to finish it I'm going need to leave Maine. I really don't want to because of my family but I have to. The only state I see that's the closes to Maine with a full veterinarian program is Maryland. My current professor recommended the college to me. It'll be at least two or three years before I move to Maryland but I figure it wouldn't hurt to join a few Maryland fur chats.

I'll probably end up just staying there long after I'm done college. I've already joined some Maryland fur groups.
