RIP Dragoneer
I'm sure most of you have already heard about what happened with Dragoneer, the site's owner. It's genuinely fucked up what happened to him, especially in regards to the American health care system failing him, but that's a rant for another day.
It hurts knowing the creator of my favorite site has passed away, but I know he's not gone, not fully. He still has his legacy here on FurAffinity. I mean, this site is practically the Mecca of the furry fandom. He's brought together so many like-minded users, given artists a platform to promote their work, and created a space where people all over the world can form friendships that last a lifetime.
Without FurAffinity, I never would've met the friends I have, or created the stories I've written, or commissioned the artists whose work I fell in love with. Even if FA falls apart with him gone, I and hundreds of thousands of furries will remember how important this site was to all of us.
RIP, Dragoneer.
