Hey there guys, I'm taking care and all but things are going slow...
I'm starting to get desperate with the "Armed guys" getting too close of home and already claiming the regions as their.
So I'm still trying to move. Yes.
The question now.. You know about the sad news about Dragoneer, I do not know him, I saw some art and heard some stories.
Saw all the struggle they had to keep up the site up by more than 10 years, and saw issues with Hack and DDOS.
And actually I know that the site has a team but we still not sure how things will be.. And we are probably under attack already?!
If you look dooooown on the page you will see something like this -> "112371 Users online — 2099 guests, 14807 registered and 95465 other."
And this -> "Limit bot activity to periods with less than 10k registered users online."
The site is not very active at the moment, olny 14.807 users online... so what is this other 95000? Bots right?
Update. It goes down again.. "66463 Users online — 2213 guests, 14702 registered and 49548 other"

I'm Diaszoom on both anyway, even on Discord.
I see that I'll be forced to create a Discord server before I'm healed, but I noticed that the amount of bots are increasing like crazy daily.. so just to keep in contact.. I'll get back to Telegram by now.
If the sad news come that the site will close, I'll upload my old art to the discord server.. This is it, I'll try to keep things under control there.

Dragoneer's passing reminds us that we're all here for a time, hopefully a long and happy one.
Though i mean yeah. I never thought about it, i don't think people camp this place 24/7, but the furry fandom being such a major art fandom, and having like 1/10th the active at a time users of say a 140k player game like runescape is interesting food for thought.
Though i think people log in for their fap and go instead of grinding 1000 hrs of 3 tick fish though.
And actually its getting very dangerous there, but they are not in war on this road yet, so I'm still safe, but not sure by how long.

Dragoneer may changed the server before going to furry heaven, one that support over 110.000 people, or the site would go off already..
The last time it happend, it goes down around 80.000 'others'.
And probably you are true.. XD
I really hope that they have plans.. because I'm not sure if someone with a lot of money would buy it... this is expensive, the one to buy must be very inteligent to make it work well. XD
Maybe even, a big appeal of like the human arts might be like human to human attention, hopefully positive stuff. Like if they made a dedicated sponsor section maybe the whales could donate 100$-1000$ to site fees to be featured on a VIP furry spotlight list. Kinda like pay for attention, im sure some people might just buy some of it to like help sponsor the site and also show off characters or their arts on like a potential clickable wall.
Like we repeat it, i know you and others talk of war and how even with all of it, the world is a messy place in 2024 and some people are tired. They don't want to fight a drama war while living in a war country, they want to be a carefree sona, having fun, escaping the woes of irl troubles, not having them chase after.
I guess while it'd be a rich donor too, i think a bad case scenario after DA would be selling it to a site like the path of DA, sold for profits first to someone who didn't care about the community or privacy but just milking the last dollar as the community lit on fire. I think that'd be a honest terrible ending though. I think sensible wikipedia style monetization would work out fine and i think they have like a smart staff team that'd never do that.
I think they have plans they plan to reveal later, but i mean like yeah. Furaffinity will probably be covered somehow. I hope it's more like wikipedia or just maybe lesser evil but fine cosmestics / irl privacy respecting stuff that keeps the community united.
They're sensible, i think.
