yesterday I saw someone make a bit about how every "tf story" is predictable. in the form of a make-your-own-adventure story.
it had the vibe of someone who has been here too long for their own good.
and I say that as someone unlucky enough to find it.
have to give credit to the accidental brilliance of using the make-your-own-adventure format as a deconstructionist satire, but beyond that it felt like one of those cases of "you make fun, but presume you'd do different than the people you mock."
if someone turned into an alien I feel like the only reason they'd not do something sexual with that almost instantly is because the transformation totally rewrote their biology or the existential horror of realizing one's body can be restructured by nature on a cruel whim would paralyze a thinking person in fear.
I kinda feel like sexualizing being turned into a pillar of salt is just a way to cope with the wrath of God, basically.
however with that in mind it's akin to embracing a culture that fetishizes a disability you have as a way to deal with that.
and with that said I would describe conventional sexuality with normal humans in that light, as just the socially normalized form of such kinks.
(which has a valid predication given that some kinks would entail literally superhuman abilities.)
and thus why we should consider anyone who doesn't embrace complete either total degeneracy or total sex negativity as being a filthy moderate centrist.
