i like the name Soft Machine a lot so i used it on that piece, but i've never actually heard them, so i'm putting em on now while i work on a comm, they rule... i feel like i'm a better artist when i listen to prog stuff instead of Best Siivagunner YTPMVs playlist
The extended instrumental breaks and (at least most of the time) synthesizer work really lends itself well to really letting you sink into the music without having to focus on it too much so you dont get distracted out of what you're doing
