help me replace my wheels/transit?

dislike that i have to come with another GFM but, here we are...
i'm trying to replace my electric scooter that lacks range with a gas powered scooter so i can make it to my doctor appointments and do errands etc without my spouse having to use what little time off he gets.

the goal is 1000, because i've managed to scope out two scooters nearby in that range. one's an 07 honda metropolitan and one's a 2016 yamaha vino, both models i've been interested in for several years with a reliable engine build. 50cc engines like these don't even require a special license!

apparently FA markup code requires urls to /not/ be in quotation marks, unlike standard html >.>
its a 'big' goal but in the context of 'if i can get a bunch of people to kick in two digits' it's not nearly so big. hopefully,,,
