Quick Profile Update

Well that was quite the wild ride these past few days...
Anyway! In the light of this, I decided to briefly just update my profile a bit. In fact, I'm most happy of the custom banner I made for myself: now my page looks more like "me"~
(Not that there's anything wrong with the default banners, just wanted to give that custom banner approach a bit of a go ever since the staff made it accessible back few years ago.)
May do bit of occasional adjustments here and there if I notice anything missing, but beyond that, I'd say this looks fine.

References to The Lonely Island aside, your new banner embodies everything I like about your art: concentrated coolness, edge, and energy with a great use of hand-drawn and computer-generated texture, an excellent use of monochrome with plenty of subtle shine and just a touch of attention-grabbing red, all in the same awe inspiration your art has. Of course, there is the 'ExCessorium' internal pun.
The banne really does an impressive and accurate first impression, despite being partially cut off. I have been thinking on what would my own banner be.
Only now did I notice that EC has big flesh 'eyebrows'. They look handsome, macho, and commanding.
That's something I've always kind of liked about some of the sources I've enjoyed: energy, style that works as a substance to a material, and of course the edge. Just something that tickles my subconscious mind and something I often play around with.
Believe it or not, I specifically painted this within the perimeters as set by FA's rules in regards to custom banners. All I had to do was draw it the way I could and there ye go. It's a challenge on it's own right, but a fun one (at least if you approach it like such, something that you have to set up for yourself willingly).
Or "eyeridges" as I believe might be the term: eyebrows is the hairy part, if I recall correctly. (Though if someone is better at technicalities, they are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.)
Also, ld memes are a mainstay of me. I still quote xkcd and even Rhythm Heaven Gold. I even like Loituma Girl!
