Trust me, if you look into it more, you’re gonna start laughing because the hacker got royally screwed financially and pissed off an actual dosing group that they were trying to throw under the bus during their attack 🤣

Yeah, so what they did was they took over the domain and try to reroute everyone to their scamming site (if people tried to login during the attack) so they can get money but because FA is a paid for domain they inadvertently ended up paying 300,000 out of their account so I guess they pretty much paid the debt for us? That one still a little bit iffy on context on my end, so I’m pretty sure there’s more in-depth information revolving that part, but the individual tried to claim that they were a part of Kiwi Farms (a hacking/doxxing group with a lot of legal background of what they’ve done in the past documented) but representatives of that group came forward and vocalize that they were disgusted by the actions of the hacker because of the timing of the owner of FA passing along with all the other things they were saying and doing when they took over FA, the Twitter account of FA, and deceased owner’s Twitter account and as a result, the hacker was doxxed and revealed to everybody. They’re basically a neo-Nazi cat girl liking thing? There’s so much to dig up.

Technically it was a DNS Hijack that was redirecting furaffinity.net to sites of the attackers choice. FA's site itself wasn't hacked or affected. The Twitter accounts for FA and Dragoneer however were hacked during this time.

I have suspicions it was related to a high profile hack at a 3rd party, but would rather wait for a official report.

high profile 3rd party is how things get screwed....I have learned allot of varios places (see crowdstrike issue)
