Has anyone heard of Project 2025?
It's a presidential transition project that ties Christian nationalism with our government. As a Christian I would be excited for this, but to be honest I'm terrified.

Hm...wait isn't that against the separation of church and state thing. This seems like how we become like the Catholic Church back in the 1300. Hm. This seems troublesome.

I should clarify I have not read it yet. Also that I think generally being nice to people is good. But not sure that should be in our laws/government. Seems like it would make every other religion have to skip town and that doesn't seem very nice.

Yes you are correct. I believe the church must remain separated from the government. For a Christian it would seem like an amazing thing, but in reality we would lose all of our freedom

Yeah. The thing that makes America amazing is that we can all have different ways we do things, and can learn from other cultures and such.

It also means that the government can not appoint priests.

If there were no separation of church and state, then the state would be able to appoint priests.
