Most of us, like me, just don't like to comment very often, I'm guessing.

It's not so much about the comments, but the faves. A fav shares your interest with everyone that goes to your page, and I don't think all my fans want that kind of association :P

I'm not an artist, but as someone who commissions often and maintains a couple galleries to showcase commissioned art (one of which has some content that is a bit strange...

I can say that there are many who view and seem to enjoy the content, but are shy about expressing their enjoyment.

In all honesty, I look at everything you draw. I'm just not a fan of diapers. Originally when I first started watching you; you didn't draw them. That's totally cool though. No one is judging.

Hmm, interesting points. Me, I pretty much stopped faving anything a year or so ago. Not sure why, now that I consider it. Just... didn't see the point anymore, I suppose.

Yup yup. Faving a lot of diaper art makes your friends ask odd questions... Often times I won't fav. anything of yours even though I should. If it makes you feel better though I do tend to visit your page more than most. Gotta love cute Penny on Mif piccys. ^.^

That's pretty clearly the case, I think. A lot of people are reluctant to admit their interests, particularly those which could be used to embarrass. Even people inside the FA community find ways to be offended by each other, so sometimes if you want to like artists from different genres, the only way to avoid pissing them all off is to avoid admitting what else you're into.

Some of us are in the closet even from other furries.

For what it's worth, I'm one of those people that looks at each and every one of your pictures, but doesn't dare fave them -- I bookmark them privately inside my browser. In fact, I made this pseudo account just so I could look at things without fear of damaging my "clean" identity. (I made another one on FTT just for your thread.) But it's a dilemma whenever I want to compliment you on your work -- because of the alias, anything I say is just coming from an irrelevant stranger.

In conclusion, I like all your work, and that stuff the best, because it's inventive and funny.

I tend to take the word "favorite" literally, and thus only mark stuff that is actually my favorite, and not simply everything that I like.

The 10% estimate is about the same for my pictures too, I always thought it was just the average. Most views just won't fave or comment is all.

I could say something like that from some of my works, I gained a lot more new watchers by posting a common fetish rather than my love fetish... yeah, I do actually have something for pictures that depict deep love...

but those are the less commented pics along with the "everyday" non-mature pics.

As far as commenting goes, I don't do it much. Not because I don't like stuff but more because I dislike saying something when I don't have anything constructive or interesting to say, which is most of the time. For most art (And I really mean most art, from diapers, to tame non-diaper stuff, to porn, to hardcore porn, and onward) all I can really think of is some variation of "That's so cute". I imagine people who specialize in surreal and horror don't really want to hear that someone thinks their work is cute. I think I'm desensitized enough that my sense of cute is radically overdeveloped. When you can say that about over perhaps sixty percent of the images you see, and can't think of anything further to say, something's a little off.

In short, we're just ashamed to admit the furry stereotype stating that we're all here just for the pr0n isn't totally false, so we mostly keep our dirty little fetishes to ourselves.

Also, drama is a good way to make us feel better about it.

Really though, I like your art, and I don't mind faving your stuff. Personally just not a fan of the diaper stuff, I feel I should note. I suppose a lot of it for a lot of people is not having that much of a divide between themselves here and offline, so they use caution in what they comment, fave etc. to avoid IRL drama. I make something of a point to keep this whole furry thing in general almost entirely online, and it's served my social life quite well. Not saying this is the way for everybody, but that's how it's been working for me.

I personally enjoy the mass majority of your artwork, it always seems to have this sense of cuteness to it no matter what the subject matter is which is a rare find. Personally, I tend to avoid mass favoriting, and fav the ones that specifically stand out, but if I realized how it was on the other side of the fence, I would have favorited more often.

It is important to note that oftentimes in the furry community, no matter anyone else's specific differences with each other, they all have one thing in common, and that's that they all hate diaperfurs/babyfurs. So no, it doesn't really surprise me that people want to hide the fact that they look at that art.

I like your art, everything is cute but for me to criticize or critique it would be saying that I knew how you can improve when my own stuff lacks the same. I don't want to be a hypocrite like that.

I comment on the stuff I do favorite to tell the artist what I like about the picture, Rarely do I ever fav stuff without a reason. I visit now and again when you have something new and if I like it I will fav it but usually the only stuff that I noticed gets commented on is fetish related, there are many drawings few and far between have I ever received on a normal picture.

Everyone has their thing. I love the cutesy stuff you draw :)

Don't know about other people, but my watch list mostly acts as my favorites. Artists' updates remind me that they exist and I go browse their stuff over and over which I don't often do with my faves. Adding a lot of favs (especially since I have no good art up myself) makes me feel stalkery not complimentary...

I think a lot of us are already internet anonymous, and once you go furry how is any fetish within that any worse anyway? It's definitely not about the diapers. Though I hate if they get used as more than puffy padded clothes, is that a conflict of interests? Maybe you could specify if they're "used" in every picture so we know how to feel about it

I, for the longest time, wasn't very open about my own liking of diapers. That, though, was when I thought I was the only person in the world who thought that way about them. Once I realized there were more people in the world than just me who had a fetish for them. I started to open up about it.

Naturally, it's to be expected that people may not be open about personal matters such as sexual fetishes. They aren't exactly things you need/want everybody to know about.

You really are one of my favorite artists on this site. I'm sorry if I don't favorite as often as I probably should, sometime I just forget to click the button. I really do love your art style though. I check your art on foxtaletimes pretty regularly too.

I need to double check, but I think I have a few of your pics faved, but I don't comment for 2 reasons. 1) Because I don't no what to say half the time. and 2) I'm still looking through submissions from 2 months ago, and I feel like I've missed the boat.

A reply to myself. Apparently I only have one faved, and it's way way back at the beginning of the list. I would think I would have more then that since I often use them as backgrounds.

There is art I admit to other people that I do, and show off, and use to get potential jobs; and then there is Other art that I really don't tell as many people about. My diaper art and stuff I post here has more page views to it than my Non fetish themed art. It's not just you that notices these things. Honestly I really can't blame people for keeping a fetish side of their tastes more secret.
