Court Date
General
I had been expecting it for a while, but nevertheless, getting served with paperwork outlining my court date for eviction isn't something I was looking forward too.
It may not be what I want, but it's just another hurdle in hopefully getting myself back on track.
I've been talking with some local people and I have folks willing to help me store some of my stuff, and my parents already have a room in the the back of their place where I can sleep. Unfortunately that room is being used for storage, so very little of my own stuff will be able to fit in there aside from maybe a couch and sleeping bag.
It also is painted a vivid blue and covered with Care Bears. The previous owners intended it to be their kid's room, but figured that the house itself was too small for the family they wanted and moved out.
Nevertheless, it's a place to stay, and as I've said before, I need a place to go where I can safely stay without incurring more bills or debt. That way all the money I make can go into paying off the past due items I have now (including fees and court costs from the eviction). Once I get all that done, I can safely try starting my life over.

The song for the moment is Mika's "Happy Ending", which is somewhat appropriate to me right now, but exceptionally painful.

No hope, or love, or glory
Happy endings gone forever more"

It's all still in an early stage, and I've already started gathering stuff together, but once I find out exactly how much time the judge will give me before I have to be out, I'll be able to figure out a plan better. I always seem to plan best when I've got a deadline looming...

Good luck with everything.
