I think it's important to draw what you want - y'know, make characters that appeal to you. I also feel like that's an unhelpful suggestion to make when someone's looking for outside input, so I guess I won't stop there lol.

I personally like arthropods, dinosaurs, and horses, so the work you've been doing already is exactly what I look for! :) If you're looking to try new things and/or are having trouble deciding on an adopt species/design theme/etc., I find random generators helpful for getting started.
