you don't have SSI? as a disabled person you are entitled to that, for this reason

sure one is entitled to SSI if they're disabled. i'm working toward SSI and if i remember correctly, well over half of all applications are rejected. plus, the process can take years and multiple rejections. it is nothing short of dehumanizing and exhausting. so, it's easy to say one is entitled to it, but actually applying and successfully getting on SSI is a completely different story.
