Yeah, I'm tryna narrow down the list from those choices. Can't decide who fits the bill the most.

I was definitely thinking that. Nala actually only came to mind as I was writing this and was trying to pick some more examples. Like, for years, I never even considered Nala until I happened to look back at that one scene where she makes that face. I was too young and that entire scene went completely over my head, Elton John blaring and all.

I think I'm primarily stuck between "Who came first" VS "Who did it better," and while Nala on horseback would be funny, it might not be the most accurate.

If going by seniority, your given reason being valid, one should take Renamon over Gardevoir(Whom also is not based on any specific animal, thus not a "Furry" by some definitions), as Renamon came a year earlier in the US(even earlier in Japan), and is also visibly an actual animal.

Sally and Lola should also be locked in pretty hard, all things considered, while Rouge has more attention now, it does not change the fact Sally was an awakening for many a furry(and general Sonic series fetishists).

Of the Disney options, some might Argue Nala's "feral" body type would exclude her from being a proper "furry" character in spite of her still being anthropomorphized in other ways, but i also do not doubt her facial expressions awoke countless furries, so in the long run she is still Valid.

However, defaulting to seniority, the position would fall on Gadget, as her show premiered in 1989, Peg's in 1992, and Nala in 1994.

Since one needs to be scuttled for Krystal(whom is very much valid to be here.), one of the best two options include Renamon, for diversity's sake(Both are Foxes), but i think the Disney Rep is the most likely to be cut.

Krystal, Lola Bunny, Sally Acorn, and Renamon, going by admittedly mostly anecdotal evidence, awoke more furries then any of the listed Disney representatives(Gardevoir is arguable, again, but is technically not a "Furry" as often defined, as she is not based on an Animal, otherwise Optimus Prime could qualify).

That is my two cents, at least. Let us know when/if the video is out?

I list Gardevoir becuse I feel that pokemon has done its share in contributing. All things considered, she was extremely tame compared to what would come in future generations, but I found that she's still the most notable. That said, Renamon popped off WAY faster and I'd be fine using her instead. Looking back at when I first saw these characters, Renamon definitely jumped onto "that list" very quickly." Gardevoir, on the other hand, needed A LOT more assistance from outside sources (artists taking liberties and such). So yeah, Renamon definitely should beat her.

I'm with you on picking Sally over Rouge. I mentioned in another comment that I'll throw her a bone by giving Sally Rouge's outfit.

I FEEL like Disney needs some rep, but Lola could just as easily fill that spot. The whole reason I thought of Nala is because, being feral, she opened up a new category that stayed dormant for a while, but remained there in the background. Gadget was my first pick though.

I still think Renamon needs to be there, even if she and Krystal are similar. Since Krystal's like the video game equivalent, it brought in a new audience, so to speak. The whole lead in to the joke that spawned this discussion is from talking about how her 15 minute intro stage somehow took players over an hour. I think you picked the best 3 additions for it and the other commenters are giving similar takes.

The video might take a while, to be honest. I've 0 experience in editing and I have to draw up assets, such as my avatar and pull together resources. I don't plan on it being this amazingly produced thing, but it will be a long, ranty, multipart affair where I do a deep dive on Star Fox Adventures and actually remake the game for fun. I'll put up a post once I get it out.

I do not think anyone is going to complain about anyone wearing any of Rouge's outfits. It is it's own sub-kink at this point, and she has so many different ones you could put all four in one. I myself would put Renamon or Krystal in Rouge's Sonic Heroes outfit, but that's just me.

I would argue Rouge the Bat should be one of them.

Renamon is absolutely one of them, I know that much.

I get exactly where you're coming from with Rouge. She and Sally are pretty interchangeable, if you know anything about Sally's history. Sally was kinda turned into this furbait thing by Penders and his team, while Rouge was the way she was from day one; they actually toned her down immediately after SA2, she used to be much more of a shortstack. Rouge also officially opened the flood gates for "how to make sexy Sonic characters."

They both left a mark, but since Rouge is still around, she should get some kinda mention. Maybe I can compromise and put Sally in Rouge's suit or something.
