TL;DR - They're using AI assets as a base/placeholder, the game's at the earliest possible development stages. It's basically just there in a "shove something in there so theres something to look at/hear"

I just came to watch the trailer and...It felt wierd? Dunno, I didn't felt like "AAAGH DISGUSTING"...it just felt like a wierd Pokémon Sword/Shield but it breed with Yo-kai Watch and they had a son.

I'm not the huge Yo-Kai Watch fan...more into Pokémon actually, but I still enjoyed when the Anime was around. I guess that's a reboot like Gen V Pokémon? Like-- the visuals are completely new and there are feel familiarity with what we were used to see. Let's just wait for when the game launch and then we can argue if it is bad or not.

its absolutely bad, they removed everything from it that made yokai watch, yokai watch. no familiar characters, nothing, they shot yokai watch dead and replaced it with a wish.com knockoff made with ai shit

just, c'mon Oliver. It shouldn't be THAT bad, it doesn't even have the title, indicating it is not a directly Yokai Watch game. "Holy Horror Mansion" is the name, so...I guess hate comments won't be resolving anything about it.

its fucking garbage ass. The trailer literally started with text saying "Next Concept of Yokai Watch" and a picture of the head of one of my favorite yokai above the text to really run it through everyone's heads this is them executing yokai watch and replacing it

I mean a lot of it is bad (like the corporation literally being called Evil and being dedicated to doing evil), but I meant that the concepts - like a boy befriending a spirit that’s able to possess o he ye and bring them to life, and discovering there are so many other spirits living in his city with an evil corporation out to exploit them for their own gain - is intriguing, even if they’re poorly executed here

Just my thoughts^^; Was never really a big fan of yo-kai watch so I guess it didn't affect me as much, otherwise I'd be in an absolute outrage over this
