I try to explain to proshippers and the like that continuing to appease their trauma by pretending it’s okay to ship adult x child or brother x sister or whatever they’ve chosen they like won’t help them heal- but they’re too far gone to listen.
They’re turning into the worst version of themselves, and even worse on, they’re turning into the person (or persons) that hurt them. They are repeating the cycle and eventually they may just go out and find their own victim someday who will also suffer as they have: at their own hand. Hurt people hurt people after all.
Is there really any hope for them? Can they even change?

i seen some do this in Moomin fandom. Like some ship Snufkin with his father Joxter, and or Snufkin with his half sister Little my...ugh.. Its not okay i think. xD i doubt they every change,those who do this? But who knows.....
