Aw man, I'm real sorry. I know how it is I lost my mom in 2023. It's starts off hard but it gets easier. There are days I still miss her but I know I'll see her again.

I lost my dad just some years ago - and that was all off a sudden.
Up to this day, we dont really know "why" he died.

I duno your ..."state" of your mom. if its a sickness or just because shes old but what ever it is or might be, we can only hope that she will no longer be in pain if it happens.

as for you who will soon (so it seems...) lose a... important person in your life, its compliedly free to show emotions. noone will judge you if you take a rest, cry or show other emotions. serious to say, im not judging you nor should anyone here and from your closer ones if you feel "not like it".

take your time. rest. cry. show emotions. if someone should judge you, ignore them.

i only hope that everything will be better soon, for you, your family and...well, your mom, where ever she might be soon...

from cancer was hard enough on me. I can only imagine

I los tmy dad and older brother last year. The pain of losing loved ones hurts. But it will get duller and more managable with time.
