I have been working on digital download capabilities on my web site. If all these places are being so tough on adult materiel maybe I should think of doing something. I already sell physical copies.

hmm, wonder how interested artists would be? they would need to find a printer for physical copies but digital shouldn't be a problem

I mostly think of your store for specific stuff like CDs and portfolios similar to SecondEd. Usually stuff like this I'd have to run around on eBay to do but it's always crazy expensive. I suppose you could consider taking care of the printing and CD creation if you licensing it from the artists. Didn't you do prints before or was that what you had on hand, already?

ah creating print's and cd's was a long time ago. back in early 2000's.
I would need to find a service that prints books first. then see what artists want and figure a price. then put a contract together.
lot of work there.
however if artists want to take care of that themselves I would be happy to host them or buy from them to sell.
I wouldn't mind expanding offerings. I have started to do that in fact, offering a Kadath book his own publisher won't carry and carring several items for DKtorzi which have a hard time getting over to US from Europe.

Those sound like good ideas! It's the selling that the hardest part, yes? I always wanted to sell my work on CD way back in the oughties and 2010's but couldn't figure out a good selling process. I guess now would be to ask and see how many artists/writers would be interested in having their products carried by Windshear's Wares without worry of adult materiel getting them kicked off another site

What usually sells CD and/or art product wise? When I was releasing my game I asked RV directly for product advise and on what they would carry and they were not helpful and wanted me to figure it out myself.

I also might know some people who could use the a hand if you do indeed expand.

Think of marketing like a book, first the cover gets the attention, then they look who made it, then the description of content seals it. A lot of furry related items work this way. The way items are marketed really is almost 50% of a product's success. And of course success breeds more success as long they can keep up quality .

I've never had great hustle. I would have been a terrible salesmen. X3 The advertising side has always been my achilles heel. But on a serious note, are you ok with me passing your name along. There is someone I know who could use some help selling a book they wrote already.
