So, I have roughly 3 drawings rn that I'm thinking of making YCHs out of (likely just a SFC tier). However, I don't exactly know how to price them, and I personally dislike the nature of auctions. Highest bidder wins, AB, all that stuff, mainly because it makes the artwork just SO MUCH more expensive than it should be. While I'm the artist in this case yes, I'd get paid more yes, It just feels immoral to make one, despite the encroaching 0 in the bank account. For these drawings, I plan on only making one of each, so all would only be one slot.

My question is to you all is this.

How should I do YCHs in the future, and how should I base the pricing? Do you rather if I make a YCH an auction rather than a flat price? If it's a flat price, how do you think I should go about it?

So far, here are a few of my own ideas to go about the YCHs going forward.

Auction
(Artist Pros and Cons: Helps with money and keeps workload consistent compared to ideas below BUT financially predatory [At least in my eyes])
(Commissioner Pros and Cons: Better supports the Artist AND It is not a first come first serve, HOWEVER, the price would likely be higher than initial worth.)

Base it off of Tier, Complexity, and "Uniqueness" of the Idea.

Make it a PWYW with a minimum base price of 5/10 for the idea in the first place (More that you pay, the more that you get, and vice versa.)
