Mmm, I'm on Joe's side. Too bad they gave him a shit song to do it with. I like Joe and X Factor a lot, but the song is just really crappy... Still, he definitely deserves it, he's a really good singer when given a decent song. Hopefully a decent fraction of the 6,000,000+ votes Joe got on Sunday alone will turn into a record purchase (I don't vote on X Factor or any other shows personally, waste of money...)
X Factor 2012, maybe my year ;) (when I'm finally done with university and ready to start my PhD...) Vocal training daily for the win!
cocks to that. The whole thing is a marketing excercise. Rage are also on Sony, in whose UK division Simon Cowell has a gigantic share in, so whatever happens he's raking in the dollar. And that's ignoring the irony of half a million people gladly being instructed to buy a song that claims "fuck you I won't do what you tell me"
Everyone should've bought "Rapemaster" by Whitehouse instead. If you're going to try and make an affront to the X-Factor crowd, don't do it by halves
agreed. Also............... if you are going to buy music to stop XFactor being number 1 then buy music that you like not what you have been told to buy. For my 2p's worth...........If you dont want XFactor to be number 1 and you dont want to encourage the Cowel monster buy somthing thats not on Sony BMG ^^
Then buy a decent song to try to make that a Christmas number 1 instead of subscribing to being brainwashed like all the other sheep in the UK. I just listened to the Rage song, wtf? It's just crap, there's not even a proper tune to it. I don't like Joe's song either, but at least it's vaguely melodic.
Are there any third parties?! I say I should release my own song and get all the furries to get that to number one instead XD ...
aye what Tsubi bitch said :3 but thats why i said each to there own, to us its amasing but to you well you dont like it so much you cant hear its point and i presume you like pop songs and such in that matter? but i was just joking it personal likeing in the end simba x3
Oh, believe me, there are tons of worse songs than RATM's out there. The problem with this whole escapade is that it demonstrates how completely easy it is to brainwash a complete nation of fools into doing something like this (and I'm not singling out England here - all countries would be largely the same).
If you/Tsubi like the song, that's fine, but it pisses me off majorly that LOADS of people bought the song just "to spite Simon Cowell". For one, Simon Cowell essentially owns both acts, so that was a stupid idea, and secondly, the one you've spited essentially is Joe. It just annoys me so much to think that some people are so fucking selfish and stupid as to try to do something like this just to 'upset' Simon Cowell when clearly that is not going to be the end result, and in the process end up hurting a lot of other people (I bet Joe for one was really gutted, he's just basically been caught up in the middle of this bullshit, poor kid).
People are thoughtless. So yeah, I don't dislike you/Tsubi for buying the song - if you enjoy the music, sure, buy it, good for you. It's the people who bought it just to basically be twats who piss me off majorly.
oh yeah i agree with that completley, ofcourse its so easy to brainwash the close minded people of the world and give them a thought to follow. everyone seeks a leader shame allt he leaders are usually wrong.
i do like the song , but admitedly i dont like all of RATM songs but i like that one, as it has good and fun memories aswell..and i will say i didnt buy the song i just supported it because of the xfactor i know its really stpid but its the same every year and would just like a song that is a song and not another cover song though i wouldnt care if it won or lost..though i thought it was xfactor spite not simon cowell
though joe was the best sport about it all, he was actually really happy and excited to be part of such a battle for the spot, he was gutted but he was honourable and itll make him do better..now hell want that spot more than anything to prove it, i wont ever like his music but hell be better from this.
*hugs back tightly and scratches your ear* :) merry christmas please have a good un!

Hrrm... I would vote for you in 2012 but we're all going to die anyway XD

All I want is a decent christmas Number 1, no more x factor
