Update - October 4th 2024

Hey everyone!
Hope you're all doing well. It’s been a while since my last update, and things have been pretty great lately, so I thought I’d share what’s been going on in my life. About half a year ago, I started a Discord group for fans of The Great Mouse Detective and Disney in general, and it’s taken off in ways I never expected. The community is super lively, and I’ve made some amazing friends through it. What’s even cooler is that we’ve all been getting along so well, we’ve planned a group Disney trip for 2026 to celebrate Basil’s 40th anniversary, and we’re even working on matching shirts for the occasion. It’s honestly incredible how many people have joined the group from all over the world, and many of them were looking for a safe, drama-free space after dealing with some toxic environments in other Discord servers. I’m glad I could create that space for them.
On a more somber note, I’ve been reflecting on all the recent celebrity deaths, including Maggie Smith, James Earl Jones, and Peter Reneday. It’s hard to believe how many legends we’ve lost lately. It’s a stark reminder that life is short, and we need to make the most of it. Now’s the time to let go of grudges, settle past conflicts, and focus on making peace. We’re not here forever, after all.
You might have noticed that I’ve taken down a bit of my artwork recently. Don’t worry, I’m not quitting, but I’ve decided to expand my horizons a bit. Most of my work here has been NSFW because, let’s be honest, we’re all thirsty. 😂 But lately, I’ve been feeling the need to branch out, so I’ve started posting more safe-for-work, Disney-themed art on DeviantArt. Who knows what kind of opportunities could come from that shift? I’m excited to see where this takes me.
In other news, I’ve been super into the Disney card game Lorcana lately. I’ve picked up several boxes and have been playing with friends locally. It’s such a fun game, and I’ve even started teaching others how to play. The deep cuts of characters they’ve included from our childhoods are such a blast from the past, and it’s amazing how quickly the game has taken off.

Life has been good, busy but good. I'm in a better place than I was 3 months ago. I'm going slow, keeping things loose and still making art here and on DA. Been reconnecting with people but keeping it chill. Enjoy the server, it's a good one.
