Advice for character design?

Hi, everyone!
Lately I have been having a lot of free time (waiting for a ton of doc appointments, gotta love public healthcare), and I have been working on my Character's stories and personalities. I noticed some of them are very similar, and I thought that I could prepare some questions to design them better.
For example: Would this character jump in a fire to save someone? Only if they are a loved one, or anyone? / Would this character change their physical appearance if they could? / Would this character choose 10k over saving their best friend? / Would they call the police on their friend or help them bury a corpse?
I think dilemmas or fun questions could be helpful! I find them easier to start with, and from a simple answer, develop their personality.

How does a character react to seeing a mess?
How does the character act towards their parents?
Would the character park in a handicap spot even though they are not disabled? (Even if they have a placard due to often traveling with a disabled person)
Is your character a glass half full or a glass half empty kind of person?
Would the person take up a dare to stay in a haunted location?
Ideals
- What are the character's life goals? Are they working towards achieving them?
- What does the character believe, and how strongly do they hold onto those beliefs?
- What principles will the character never betray?
- What would prompt the character to make sacrifices?
- What drives the character to get out of bed in the morning?
- What is the single most important thing that the character strives for?
Bonds
- Who does the character care the most about?
- Is there a special place that the character feels connected to?
- What is the character's most cherished possession?
- Has the character made any enemies doing what they do? If not, have others made an enemy out of them instead?
- If the character lost something or someone they value or cherish (i.e. a possession, a title, a loved one, etc), how determined would they be to get them back?
Flaws
- What enrages the character?
- What's the one person, concept or event that the character is most terrified of?
- What vices does the character have?
- How might the character be exploited to cause them to act against their best interests?
