Feedback Wanted: Trying Something New w/ Story Uploads

Hi guys,
So I’ve been getting back in the saddle with writing lately. Got a few new stories I’ll be uploading soon. But I wanted to throw an idea out in the open.
Since I started writing and uploading here, I’ve always uploaded my stories twice. A plain text file in the Main Gallery. And a PDF in the Scraps gallery.
I want to try just uploading stories as PDFs in the Main gallery. I find working around the site’s quirks with plain text files kind of clunky and any neat changes I make to text font doesn’t show in that format.
What do you guys think? Should I give it a shot? I think it would honestly make my life a little easier than uploading everything twice.
