Dad died today, aged 75

And doth the Drygerskunk posteth: It is with sad regret and morbid duty that I have to announce that my father passed away around 1pm Eastern today, October 10th, 2024.
I've always regarded 75 years old as the absolute "You made it" point in someone's life. Where you have paid your dues. Anything more is gravy. It's time to relax, enjoy life, pontificate, etc. Sadly, he only got eight months of that in a rehab facility.
There's a lot of cleanup to do now.
Mom's probably kicking his ass up where they are now.
