Ramblings from the world's worst Samurai
In the beginning, best beloved, there where the remains of many other worlds, they where imperfect, too much land, or too much water, or no plant life. The Gods looked at there past mistakes and pondered how they could fix them. Kuwadro, The Lawmaker, looked at these remains and asked the other Gods what they thought they should do. The other gods all made suggestions but they all suited what they thought was best for them, and had no consideration for the people who would live in this world, Kuwadro sighed heavily unsure of what to do. His sigh was heard by one creature, Pazuzu, who is like the Gods but backwards, he came to the Great Lawmaker and suggested to him that they take apart there imperfect worlds and use them to build a perfect one.
Kuwadro considered this idea. It would allow the gods to all add the bits of the worlds they liked best and let them take the creatures that they liked best as well. Kuwadro organized the Gods and they all went off to begin their part. He Turned to Pazuzu and rewarded him and said "it was your idea, so while we build on half of the world, you may build the other half as to your liking."
Pazuzu smiled and frowned (half his face always smiles and half his face always frowns) and agreed to this. He went of an began to build his half and the Gods built there Half on the other side. While the Gods took apart their worlds and rebuilt them on there half, Pazuzu had nothing to build with, he had no worlds of his own to take apart and none of the Gods would share there worlds with him. So Pazuzu took the nothingness, the abyss between the worlds, and used that to build his half of the world.
When the Gods had finished, best beloved, Kuwadro went to see how Pazuzu's work was going. And what he saw did not please him. Pazuzu had not bothered to control the abyss he used to build his half of the world, and Pazuzu just sat there playing with the abyss like a small child with clay, building strange monsters and demons. Kuwadro scolded Pazuzu, "You can't do this! you're half is hurting the half of the world that we built!" And Pazuzu just looked at him and said "but you said I could build this half as I wish."
Kuwadro then apologized. as the Lawmaker he had to keep his word of honor, even if it did make others suffer.
And that, best beloved, is why there is evil in the world, and there always will be.
