I have not really messed with any of the easy pay things sense I got burned by paypal ages ago. I still have the account I think, but, I have no way to put money in it, I don't dare use any sort of bank access with them. But it is easy enough for me to slip 15 in an envelope and mail it off, heck, I even have stamps still!
I do need to look into getting one of the newer pay systems set up, but, I am a bit overly carefull with money now. I tend to get cash and pay for everything with cash than want to use a card.

sadly the internet ruined them. They were my favorite from the beginning but then 6 years ago that copypasta came out and everyone assumes if you like vaporeon you just want to fuck it.

I've never been called a pervert over the little 6" Vaporeon plushie I had on my desk at work, either. Actually a lot of my coworkers thought he was super cute and I think the only specific comments about him came from other colleagues who also keep pokemon stuff in their cubes. Someone wandered off with him during the pandemic so I have a little Arcanine now, but I think the problem kinda stops being a problem once you get outside of terminally online social media degenerate circles. Like Roko's Basilisk. It stops being a problem whenever you stop allowing it to be a problem.

It's not my place to tell you how you should or shouldn't feel about it, but like... There are definitely clear observations I don't mind sharing about how others feel about it.
