I got one but it's just for following others, no posts. Same name as here.
I'm not as paranoid as I used to be about old Twitter, but I also don't miss it. My guess is that Bluesky is going to turn into that due to being centralized and run by the same people.

The big problem with social media is that it's so easy to be toxic and negative without consequence. It's a good idea in theory; communicating with others and sharing your thoughts is great. But it can go to the wayside so fast.
I'm not sure what I'd use Mastodon for, but I am starting to consider it.
