(TL;DR at end) I have epilepsy so I can’t be online for a while because screens can cause a seizure so I drop off Earth for a few then return. I’m back and I’m happy because Furaffinity added a feature where you can block minors from viewing your profile! I’ve been weary of engaging with messages from people I didn’t know due to worry they were underage. I never speak with minors because even though I don’t sex chat or roleplay, it’s very inappropriate for a 28 year old woman to be talking to children. I, an adult, have nothing in common with children and they have nothing in common with me. I prefer people to be 21 to have a friendship with me because at 21 you’re legal to smoke, drink and go into clubs. 21 year olds also had enough time to experience what it’s like to be an adult therefore they know adult situations, they have knowledge on what their boundaries are regarding conversation and they usually know how the adult world works. 18 year olds just turned into adults therefore they may be into risky stuff, they may be rebellious because they can do whatever they want without a parent and they don’t have much insight on consequences of their actions. I also like talking about MJ and cocktails and talking about that to adults under 21 is still inappropriate to me because that’s grooming them to try it. I also have a dark and sexual sense of humor and I am uncomfortable talking like that to “new adults”. However, if you’re 18 and we have things in common then I’ll be friends with you. I just won’t talk about MJ or alcohol until you’re 21.

TL;DR: I’m back after taking an epilepsy break, FA made a feature to prevent minors from looking at your profile and I prefer 21 year olds to contact be but will talk to 18 year olds as well.
