I suffer from de Quervain syndrome. In recent months, I have practically become disabled, I can't cook for myself, I can't play video games, half of my household chores cause me terrible pain. I can draw no more than 1-2 hours a day with pain relieving ointments.
My doctor called today and scheduled my surgery for this Tuesday! I'm terribly nervous, but hopefully this will solve my problem and I'll get back to normal!
The doctor said that I will have to stay in the hospital for five days, so from Tuesday I will be unavailable until the weekend at the FA. I will go in the telegram, I will write all the relevant information in my channel - https://t.me/eriy05
They write on the Internet that in order to avoid relapses, it is necessary to reduce the load on the arm and it is better to change the type of activity altogether, but I'm afraid in my case this is impossible. I love to draw and craft with my own hands too much :D
I don't know how long it will take to restore the function of the hand, they write on the Internet for 2-3 weeks, I will not be able to draw this time.
I was very lucky, the operation would be absolutely free for me, I just had to deal with the bureaucracy and collect all the documents. I did it in two weeks!
Still, I have to buy food for myself and the cats and also pay the bills. In any case, I am still open to commissions, I will draw them as soon as I recover!
