Hi guys, what's up?
I'm reopening my requests for commissions. Over the last few months, I've been working on my personal project and receiving sponsorship to keep producing, but some unforeseen financial events have happened and, as a result, the sponsorship doesn't cover all the expenses. The first of these is this: on Friday, my desktop computer crashed, and it's with an IT technician friend, who is still trying to figure out what happened. There's a good chance that the problem is with the video card, so I need to buy another one just in case. If it is, I'll have the answer soon.
I'm using my laptop for work and I also want to add more memory to it, as the factory memory is basic and causes bottlenecks when using Photoshop. The other problem is that I need to save money for an emergency renovation of my house, which will possibly cost between 8,000 and 9,000 reais. What's happening is that water is seeping in through the floor grouting in my bedroom and my office (which is now closed, as I'm working in the living room). This infiltration problem has been going on since the beginning of the year, but now there's a risk of the wall collapsing. The neighbour at the back of the house didn't build a wall to separate our houses, so ours is attached to the back of the neighbour's house, which has been filled in by 1.5 metres. Half of my wall is earthed, so when it rains or the house is washed, water gets into the wall.
The bricklayer/engineer came round and suggested building a new wall, pulling my bedroom and office inwards by 60cm, knocking down the wall that divides my bedroom and office to make room. This would provide a new corridor between the wall of my house and the old wall... so that the water will fall through it and drain into another corridor on the side of the house. I'll have to finish it off later, but first I need money to put up this wall and solve the water problem. I'm counting on you to help me publicise my work, or even support me via ko-fi or here!
I'll be making pages of my comic available for you to read and appreciate what I've been working on. Because I love telling this story. But unforeseen events happen, and we have to fight to resolve them!
