Con Recap: Furpocalypse 2024 + COMMISSIONS!
Time to get a-head of the game.
TL;DR: Con was a blast, but I did break the Apple Pencil during the con and I'm taking commissions/donations to get a new one! Read below for commission info:
This con was good. In some ways, I feel like I fell back a few spaces with how I view cons. Early on, I'd have a skewed idea of them and had unrealistic expectations, and before my mom passed, when I went to them fairly regularly, I was pretty on point with not concerning myself about others and just having a good time.
This was the first con I was seriously enjoying like a con. Before this, I was at Furrydelphia and I definitely was more out and about, wandering, just clearing my head after the terrible time I had earlier in the year. I felt like it was one of my first times at this con, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself overall.
I gave out stickers, and I started writing cute little notes on the back of them with my Telegram and Discord contacts—things like "You're loved!" "Say Hi!" "I love FP2024!"
And apparently, someone found the "you're loved" sticker when they needed a pick me up during the con! Worth it. Worth every moment of doing that.
The one other bad part of the con: I done broke my Apple Pencil! 😭 I gotta get a new one. I'm opening commissions/donations!
Donate $20: Full body Rough Sketch
Donate $50: Full body colored sketch
Donate $100: Full body sketch with background
Donate $130 (cost of a new pen + Tax): Full body color sketch w/background
I'm hashing out final prices and offerings for my work so please stay tuned!
