No More Twitter for me!

JOURNAL STARTS HERE Back in October I made the decision to no longer post full art on Twitter, and earlier this week I decided to just give up on it completely.

My Twitter account will remain to ensure the username can't be stolen for scams, but it's locked, and I won't be using it again.
Honestly I've been using it less and less except to dump art and run for a long while, and I genuinely say I feel a lot better for it having to see less hostility and dumbshittery from brainwashed and/or ignorant individuals and their views being pushed by Musk onto everyone's timelines.
Not only that but the constant worsening of the platform via generative AI training being baked in to eroding safety features (like making blocked accounts still able to see your posts) and lack of visibility from deboosting means my post there rarely got seen anyway. With less than 1/4 of the followers on bsky i already get far more interaction and commissions from folks who see me on bsky. Nothing irreplaceable holds me to twitter so it feels good to cut it out of my sphere~

Why any artist is still using the platform is beyond me just in that little section, especially how against Ai artists have been.
not to mention the amount of work i got from it until the last year or two. It was my second biggest contributor to commissions after FA. as someone who relies on social media for work, even facebook has value for me as I get commissions from furry groups there too. But twitter in particular no longer provides that value for me.
