Greetings Everyone,
I know politics isn’t entirely my focus here, but I wish to make an announcement in light of recent events. So bear with me, my fellow sinners, and heed my words.
As y’all might’ve known, a huge election has come to pass in the country that I’m in, that could see significant change come about in the coming years. Unfortunately, reason has been defeated; and the cultish fervor of those who see people like us, people like me, as lesser, shall reign.
But that does not mean I shall, or we should, lie down and accept defeat. In fact, I wish to tell all of you to do the opposite. Rage. Focus your hatred, your pain, in going forward. Give not these bastards of hatred, of bad faith, one single inch. If a troll wishes to cite anger from you, be stoic. If one of the cultists wish to see you brought down, be like a mountain. If they wish to put us in bondage, claw and roar every step of the way.
We said we shall not go back, and I say that sentiment shall remain true. We shall survive. And we shall do it with spite and furious anger.
So take this time to take care of yourselves, too. Drink water, hug a friend, make love to a lover, see nature. Do whatever you can, but go forward. Be stoic, be like a raging river upon an immovable mountain, and go forward.

If someone we don't like gets voted in we just groan collectively and proceed to laugh whenever they inevitably fuck up. This just sounds a bit dramatic? Hateful?
One side is preparing for war, figuratively and unfortunately literally, here and there. And the other side, as is expected, is reveling in their win. I've already gotten DM's and comments trying to incite some kind of instinctual, base response, but I ain't letting them. 'Don't feed the trolls' and 'Don't debate the doomers', n' so forth. Because you'll never get anywhere like this.
As is for the extreme response, well, it's come from d e c a d e s of cultural shifts and people pointing figures. You see it in our liberal areas; leftists blaming liberals, liberals blaming leftists, saying 'oh the latinos hate us', 'the log cabin gays hate us', 'they're just stupid', etc. etc. etc. Frankly, I do blame Democrats for this :P But I also see where the right is coming from. A pity; it all is truly a giant pity. But I ain't gonna cry over the loss. I'll pout, but I remember the good saying: Don't weep for the stupid, you'll be crying all day.
Now, I'm not trying to sympathize with the right wing. I, in fact, believe Trump has been placating on the emotions of those who feel their way of life is being pushed back. So he, and his constituents, use the same language, the same song and dance as before, and it worked. Didn't help that he nearly got assassinated on live TV, by his own follower no less. But that doesn't matter. Their supposed John F. Kennedy was threatened; the fact that it was one of their own doesn't matter here. What matters is the image; he was going to be silenced; thus he is justified in the eyes of the right to lead, because if he's being threatened then obviously he must be doing something, right? So they, the right, use emotions as a weapon. A tool for them to throw their enemies off-balance. And it's easy too; when you're being equated to pedophiles and treated as a perversion neigh an utter heresy upon society, then it's easy to piss someone off when you remind them of this libel. So, in essence, it isn't extreme, it's fully expected.
For a good while, though, we do the same thing. Hell, we worked with each other. Until...probably 2008. At least the moderates did. Now, the polarization caused by the flood of unfiltered and unabated information, the racism, xenophobia, LGBT+phobia and misogyny all caused by said unabated information, poisons our political atmosphere with a noxiousness unseen since the days of Joseph McCarthy. The days the right wish to get back to with rose-colored glasses. But much like you practically can't stop someone from pirating a movie if they do it properly; you can't stop people from enjoying their way of life. Even at the cost of their lives they'll still find ways to move forward. This is what I was trying to convey in 'A call to Will to Power': moving forward with a stoic mindset and continue to work towards a better future.
But if you deem it hateful or dramatic then lemme add this part: When the right is not only using my former religion, my veteran status, my flag and my oath i swore to, and my entire family as weapons against my community, my people; calling us fags, trannies, pedophiles; telling us 'oh we don't care we just want you to keep it in the bedroom and away from children' as if me expressing my identity is somehow a perversion upon what they deem as the norm and is deserving of annihilation... You'd be just a little pissed off too.
And thus I conclude with this: My call is a call to rise. To bear the brunt of this oncoming struggle, for we are nothing if not survivors. Even the United Kingdom has it's own woes too, after all. Y'all share the same nuisances who throw slander and libel about like children; so I say again: facing all of that plus a right wing that has an entire plan of how to roll back protections, civil rights, ban 'deviancies' like pornography, and seek the utter devastation of the LGBT community through legislation and direct action because they crave cruelty...you'd be just a lil' pissed off too.
