Hello everyone, Eagel here.
Sorry for being gone for a while, I know I said I had more along the way, but I tried making some new posts but couldn't think of anything too good and just kind of gave up. I was planning on returning at some point with the same silly posts that I originally wanted to make this series for, but I'm coming back for something a little different right now.
So, the 2024 Presidential election happened, and Donald Trump has won the election once again and is about to begin his 2nd term in January. Following the results, the I have noticed that a lot of my friends, family, really anyone I talk with regularly haven't been themselves since. They've been depressed, livid, all sorts of negative emotions, and they're in a state of constant worry now simply over the results of the electoral college. While I was disappointed with the results as well, I was all able to go about my day as normal in the end, and I had time to think about the entire situation thus far. So, for those who are worried, angry, sad, or believe that Trump's victory is the end of the country, I would like to share some of my thoughts.
(We ask that you read the following from a neutral perspective, we are not in support of Trump and the Trump administration, and this shouldn't be interpreted as such.)
No matter how much you may deny it, you and everyone on this planet are always trying to change the world around them to be their own perfect little world. No matter how good they are, or how selfless and respectful of other people are, everyone deep down wants to change everyone else to be how they want them to be. It's just human nature. We believe that we're the smartest person a lot of the time and usually think about how we're going to change things first before even considering how everyone might change things. Trump is no different, he's going to try and change America to be a haven for rich white guys like him, because he's not an almighty figure, he's not the bold face of the Republican party, he's just some spoiled businessman who somehow got into office. You know what I say to that? Fuck it, let him do it. He can do what he wants, but we aren't going to take any of that shit. We should work on our own issues, build our communities, focus on what matters to us. The people around you know you better, they suffer from similar problems, and together, your city, your town, your neighborhood, they can all work together to fix the problems you have, instead of just relying on the Federal Government. Because the Federal Government is just a holding company to manage the things that the states can't or shouldn't manage individually (At least that's how it should be) and if Trump isn't doing anything for you and your community directly, he doesn't matter for shit. The media is giving him even more power than he ever had in the first place. You know who does have the power? Our country of 325 million. We as a nation can and will accomplish anything as long as we're united. We've done it before when faced with a common enemy; We kicked the Germans' asses because they sunk a ship and killed innocent Americans, we kicked the Japanese's asses because they bombed our harbor, and we kicked Al-Qaeda's ass after they took down our towers. Time and time we have proven again that you do not fuck with the American public, and we can show this again.
The election has brought in a new era of the United States of America, one where nothing has been made of it yet. So why should we let this orange fatass define this era just because he's talking shit about his terrible plans for the country? Even if things don't look good now, we can still power through. Keep doing the things you love, tell the media to fuck off, get closer with your communities and the people who truly love and care for you like you love and care for them. We are the strongest nation on Earth, and we are going to uphold that title for years to come. Every single one of us, from the tradesmen to the accountants, can play a part. Together, stronger than ever, we can make this new era of the country our[/i] era of our[/i] country.
If you're worried, sad, or angry, know that you are not alone. There will always be someone that will be there for you and that will listen, and if you'd like to let something off, I'd be happy to listen here too. It will be ok, we will power through.[/i]
While the comment section is open, please keep the discussion civil. If you'd like to vent or want to challenge my thoughts, feel free to post. This post was made to try to help out and motivate those who are worried or anxious about the outcome of the election to keep going and enjoying life like they were. I reserve the right to delete comments from those who try to force their extremist views on anyone like some people have been doing.
Stay strong and God Bless America.

Also I didn't add this to the post because of the nature of it
But I've personally made it a everyday task to give the finger to the heritage foundation every time I walk by their building in the morning lol
That's[/i] how I handled my feelings (I would've done it either way fuck those guys)
That's good for now.
Please remember that I'm usually busy with things at the moment, especially I'm working on getting my driver's license which is long overdue. Please see my two latest journals on that just in case you haven't because I started watching you after I posted them.
Good luck! :>
stay strong
that makes more sense

It's not as simple as "chin up, everything will be ok!" when my life has been made into a political footfall with no end in sight. That being said, I am managing. I've been in survival mode for so long that it's simply the norm for my life. I worry more for my friends than myself.
It's a little difficult for me to respond to this as I can't really relate to your experience, what I can say is that just because the administration wants to do all this bullshit, they can't just do whatever, and it can still be shot down in congress.
I wish nothing but the best to you in the future, and like I said with the other person above, even if those rich white supremacists in office now force you to revert to your original gender, they can only control what happens legally, so nothing should stop you from being the person you want to be. You could ask people to refer to you by how you want to be called, do what you think is right, etc. They can do a lot of shit but remember this is still a free country, so as much as they try to squash everything that they don't like and make it a paradise for them, we will always find a way by.
Republicans hold the majority on the senate too right now, by the way. And Trump got to pick 3 supreme court justices. The only thing they don't have is the house of representatives. We are entering uncharted waters, and it all depends on how far the MAGA crowd in office is willing (and competent enough) to go.
Again I'm sorry for the bad replies but I'm only going by what I know right now and I haven't fully read Project 2025 so I don't know how to respond to this that well.
Also the supreme court granted the president immunity for actions taken while in office:

But yes, their goal is to stop us from existing completely.
This is nothing new though. Most people don't know but laws attacking us have been ongoing for a few years now. https://translegislation.com/
I always tell people: if you look at history, an essential strategy of the far right is to always have a scapegoat. A vulnerable minority with no real institutional power to fight back to point a finger at demonize and say "these people are the reason our country is falling apart". If you think about it, I'm sure you can think of many examples.
If you're into podcasts, this one is about the first time the far right attempted a hostile takeover of the federal government in the US: https://open.spotify.com/show/3ImqT.....cfZINTgByeAThh (you can find it on any podcast streaming platform)
You'll probably notice many similarities to what's happening now.
But it's good that you have friends that support you, and as long as you have that, and people who respect your desire to be a man throughout all of this.
I don't have a desire to be a man. I am a man. And I definitely haven't had people support me the whole way, I was homeless for a year because I came out. I have friends I've made and a few loose family connections I found years after the fact, but I spent the vast majority of the last decade very isolated. That kind of story isn't uncommon and is why trans people very frequently have compounded social and psychological problems. It's taken me a very long time to work through my trauma from all this and that process is still ongoing. We are social creatures, so rejection and isolation does a lot of damage. I've been in poverty ever since being homeless, but things have been getting better gradually. I'm currently a federal volunteer getting less than minimum wage (it's a stipend, but yeah we work 80 hour weeks outdoors) working trails and restoration projects at state and national parks and despite the pay I love this job.
But anyways, I've been blabbering your ear off for a while now. You've been very receptive and I appreciate that.
I'm here to listen bud
