Small rant about being a commissioner sometimes

Paid for, and traded for, a commission back in December 2023.
Got the bigger part of my commission a few months later (Earlier this year in March on the 12th).
Then after a poke in June, I was told it would be finished by the end of June.
Didn't happen.
Poked them again in August.
No reply.
Poked them again on another site in August, was told messaging them there would be better.
Told them I'd be busy for a few days that month if they needed anything for the commission.
No reply.
Saw in October they were posting about doing YCHs again.
Messaged them to ask if my comm would be done after the YCHs.
Was told they forgot about my commission/fell through the cracks because I traded games for the majority of it, as well as $80 USD and it wasn't written down the same way their other comms were.
They said they'd get me a WIP within the week.
They went on Vacation.
Added them on Telegram on November 5th, which I hate using, and I still don't know if/when I'm going to get the full body + background + shaded commission.
Last message I sent them on the 11th was 'Let me know if I need to resent the information for the image btw'
I see them online a lot, but my message hasn't been confirmed as read.
I hate bothering an artist a lot, or really at all, when asking about my commission stuff, but I think being told 'my commission fell through the cracks cause it wasn't paid for it was traded for'
Sure, I was getting a bit of a discount with the offer I got from them ($50 off the total price, after considering the value of the games I sent them at the time), and I have commissioned them in the past, but being told in June that mine would be done by the end of the month (Which was my birth month and made me feel like fucking shit), I'm at the end of my line here.
I'm legit fucking furious that I keep getting forgotten about at this point. It takes days/weeks to get a reply at all at times.
Yes, I know people have their own lives and blah blah blah. But it's been 11 months now. This has been increasingly stressing me out the longer it goes on and I don't know if I'll ever get my fucking commission at this point.
Hell, I'd even be willing to take the $80 back so I have SOMETHING back for this if it was offered, but I don't want to take money out of an artist's pocket, more so because the holidays are right around the corner.
But god fucking damn I'm so angry about this whole thing.

Fair enough but then if I tried to contact him through twitter messages every now and then, he ignored me. All that is left is colouring and nothing from him to finish!
Then I find out in December 2022 he spazzed out and left twitter because he’s one of those guys flipping out Musk purchased the site and now he can’t stand that idea. He threw a tantrum, ran away from my colouring and ran away with my money!
Granted I’m happy I kept the character from his sale but geez he ghosted me and no refunds.
