I can guess it's due to one thing:

X accounts now give unlimited (forced) consent for their content to be used in AI training.

That's why I no longer use X at all anymore. I used to keep one account to keep in touch with artists who have only that, but after the changes, I've fully boycotted X for good.

Yes, but it'll also prevent your name from being used by others who might not have the best intentions. However, it is up to you, I just know a lot of others have been leaving their accounts as "ghosts".

You might want to reconsider that, blue's terms of service states that any artwork you post on their site they can claim copyright ownership to and use to make money for them without paying compensation to the artist.

That’s fair, though I should also say that Bluesky has officially stated they do not want to or plan to use user content for generative AI, and the extent of their AI is moderation/discovery feed posts (basically suggesting you posts). It has also been pointed out that phrasing similar to what is used in the Bluesky Contract is found in many other sites such as discord and YouTube. Though people have already pointed this part out in the comments of the tweet. Wanted to state this in the hopes of assuaging any fears towards using the site, though imo a watermark or two would still be good.
